잔을 가볍게 흔들면 옅은 호박빛이 잔벽을 타고 천천히 흐른다. 잔을 코끝에 가져가면 셰리 옥타브 피니시가 남긴 건포도와 견과 향이 가장 먼저 올라온다. 한 모금을 머금으면 48도의 알코올이 부드럽게 퍼지며 글렌알라키 특유의 사과와 토피의 단맛이 묵직하게 흐른다. 천천히 삼키면 옥타브가 새긴 농축된 향신료와 다크초콜릿 잔향이 입에 길게 남는다.
