잔을 코끝에 가져가면 바닐라와 살구 요거트, 미라벨의 상큼한 과일향이 오르고 라임 꽃과 카모마일 같은 허브 인퓨전이 뒤를 잇는다. 마르살라로 마감한 글렌알라키 12년답게 향은 화사하고 온화하다. 48도의 이 보틀링을 머금으면 퍼스트필 버번을 닮은 크리미함 위로 살구 타르트와 바닐라 크림, 아카시아 꿀 단맛이 퍼진다. 삼키면 레몬 쪽으로 조여드는 산뜻함과 허브의 쌉쌀함이 남는다. 와인 캐스크를 절제한 산뜻한 12년이다.
