테이스팅 노트
짙은 금빛이 잔 속에 깊게 어린다. 리필 버번 호그스헤드에서 21년을 보낸 헤이즐번은 캠벨타운 특유의 부싯돌 같은 광물성을 앞세워, 호두와 낙엽, 금속 광택제, 씁쓸한 오렌지의 향을 시간을 두고 풀어놓는다. 47도의 입안에서는 겨자 같은 톡 쏘는 드라이함과 후추, 풋호두, 가죽, 정향이 두꺼운 질감으로 흐른다. 여운은 길고 짭조름하게 이어지며 가죽과 호두, 씁쓸한 오렌지, 후추의 잔향을 오래 남긴다.

it was me. It’s a mustardy Springbank, pretty fino-y (or is that bone dry Madeira?), peppery, with even more green walnuts now, old chardonnay, pecans, a drop of Worcester sauce maybe, more bitter oranges, bitter herbs, rather a lot of leather, cloves, caraway… I have to say I tend to prefer either bourbon, or rounder sherry, but of course, we’re still flying pretty high. So perhaps not a stratospheric Springbank in my book, but there… Oh and could be that reduction did it a little harm, I don’t think that’s impossible

long, salty on leather, walnuts and bitter oranges. Peppery aftertaste, with some amontillado?
