향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
노즈에서는 프레시 올로로소 셰리가 입힌 바닐라가 평소보다 앞서 두드러지고, 풋사과와 해바라기씨 기름, 옅은 왁스가 뒤따른다. 캠벨타운 증류소답게 팰럿에서는 비터 오렌지와 커리 가루, 감초, 잿내가 또렷하게 발전하며 구조가 단단하다. 피니시는 길지 않지만 깔끔하고 신선해 짭조름한 보리 끝맛이 깊게 머문다. 헤이즐번 2010의 절제된 셰리 숙성이 분명하게 드러나는 보틀링이다.

it seems that it’s rather gentler than earlier CS versions, or is it me? Or is it the lower strength? The vanilla seems to be more forward, while the expected sooty/phenolic notes seem to be shier than usual. What’s quite loud is this bag full of green and less green apples, all covered with some sunflower and linseed oils and a little wax. I think it’s rather less smoky than earlier bottlings. With water: this feeling of Schweppes that’s often to be found in modern Springbank or Longrow. What did you expect?

not that long, but clean and fresh, with a slightly salty and barleyish aftertaste
