하이랜드 동부의 비옥한 풍토에서 셰리 숙성의 정점을 보여 주는 글렌드로낙이 27년의 깊이를 펼친다. 잔에는 진한 적갈색이 윤기 있게 감돈다. 페드로 히메네스 펀천에서 숙성된 향은 건포도와 당밀, 다크초콜릿이 진하게 피어오른다. 입에서는 50.9도의 묵직한 셰리 단맛과 가죽이 입천장을 천천히 덮는다. 1990년 빈티지의 여운은 말린 과일과 흙내가 깊게 머문다.

there we are, the classic Glendronach profile as seen since the early 2000s, heavily marked by the sherry but in an elegant manner, this time on tobacco, currants (the Andalusian kind), dates, candied cherry, fir honey, and a touch of fresh mint… I find it rather nice, actually, even if it feels a tad sweeter than your typical old-school GDs.
