애버딘셔 포그 계곡에 자리한 글렌드로낙, 셰리 숙성의 명가로 이름난 그 고장이 이 위스키에 짙게 배어 있다. 잔에는 깊은 금빛이 감돈다. 올로로소 셰리 버트에서 19년을 보낸 1989 빈티지는 절인 살구와 와인에 조린 복숭아, 토피와 블랙 티의 향을 우아하게 피워 올린다. 58.7도의 도수는 입안에서 커피 리큐어와 초콜릿, 풋호두의 씁쓸함을 균형 있게 감아 흐른다. 셰리가 과하게 무겁지 않아 과일의 우아함이 또렷하게 살아 있다. 이 싱글 캐스크는 검은 후추와 정향의 알싸한 여운을 길게 남긴다.
