깊은 황금빛이 잔 속에 진하게 어린다. 하이랜드의 글렌드로낙 12년 옛 보틀링은, 연필 깎은 향에서 시작해 삼나무와 마지팬, 오렌지 제스트로 번지는 고전적인 향을 그윽하게 피워 올린다. 43도의 알맞은 도수에서 삼나무와 쌉싸름한 아몬드, 아마레티와 후추, 자두가 겹겹이 이어진다. 쌉싸름한 오렌지와 아몬드, 캐러웨이의 여운이 길게 남는다.
