애버딘셔 포그의 글렌드로낙은 오래도록 셰리 캐스크 숙성을 고수해 온 하일랜드 증류소다. PX와 올로로소를 거친 12년산은 잔에서 짙은 마호가니빛을 낸다. 자두와 무화과, 건포도의 진한 단향에 흙내음과 담배의 결이 깔린다. 43도의 도수로 입안에서는 깨끗한 셰리의 풍미에 소금 친 아몬드와 절인 호두, 다크 프루트가 진하게 번진다. 마무리는 길고 옅은 소금기와 호두, 랑시오의 풍미가 깊게 머문다.
