잔을 천천히 돌리면 포므롤 와인 캐스크가 물들인 불그스름한 호박빛이 잔 벽에 맺힌다. 코를 가져가면 아드모어다운 은은한 피트 연기 위로 붉은 베리와 자두 같은 와인의 단내가 겹쳐 올라온다. 56.3도의 술을 한 모금 머금으면 훈제향과 검붉은 과실, 다크초콜릿이 혀에서 부딪친다. 삼키면 그을음과 와인의 떫은 단맛이 번갈아 입 안에 길게 남는다.
