향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
노즈에서는 은은한 재와 짭짤한 갯내가 가장 먼저 두드러지며, 엑스 라프로익 배럴에서 온 잔잔한 이탄 향이 아드모어 특유의 농가풍 뉘앙스와 뒤섞인다. 레몬 껍질과 갓 벤 보리, 풋풋한 허브가 8년 숙성의 신선함을 명확하게 드러낸다. 팰럿은 46도의 담백한 무게로 부드러운 나무 재와 광물, 순수한 이탄을 또렷이 전하고 옅은 풋고추의 매콤함이 뒤를 잇는다. 피니시는 제법 길게 오일리한 질감과 수지, 마른 이탄 연기가 훈제 생선 같은 뉘앙스로 마무리되는 2008년 빈티지다.

lightly ashy and briny. An embery kind of peat mingling with Ardmore’s trademark farmyness. This one was one of many Ardmores from these vintages matured in ex-Laphroaig barrels which explains why this alludes to a certain Laphroaiginess. Some lemony notes, lots of fresh barley, maybe a few chopped green herbs as well. Very nice

We’re in very consistent territory: soft wood ashes, some minerals, a pure kind of farmyard quality and also lemon skins and pure peat. Some sheep wool, hessian and a little green pepper as well

Good length. Oily, some resins and herbal notes, drying peat smoke and a kippery edge as well
