향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
잔을 가볍게 흔들면 버번 캐스크가 남긴 옅은 밀짚빛이 잔 벽을 타고 흘러내린다. 코를 가까이 하면 글렌 모레이 특유의 갓 구운 바게트와 버터, 사과 파이에 옅은 럼과 바나나 향이 겹친다. 한 모금을 머금으면 46도의 술이 부드럽게 혀를 덮으며 풋사과와 초록 바나나, 서늘한 민트가 번진다. 혀 위에서 굴리면 럼 바바와 달큰한 사이다 같은 결이 살짝 드러난다. 2007년 증류해 아홉 해를 채운 스페이사이드 몰트답게 산뜻하고 균형 잡힌 결이 또렷하다. 삼키고 나면 뜻밖의 짭짤한 소금기가 입술에 남아 다음 한 모금을 부른다.

the whisky's kept the upper hand, which is all that counts in my book. Ale, baguette and leaven bread, touch of butter, then apple pie, damson tarte, and then indeed notes of rum, rather around bananas flambéed and just rum baba. Blends well but to be honest, good malt whisky and Foursquare are not, in my book, complete strangers to each other. I mean philosophically
