호그스헤드에서 27년을 보낸 이 벤네비스는 하이랜드 특유의 묵직함과 오랜 숙성의 균형을 함께 보여준다. 향에서는 잘 익은 자두와 왁스, 흙내음이 또렷이 드러나며 이 증류소 특유의 진득한 질감을 예고한다. 입에서는 꿀과 가죽, 다크 토피가 47.9도의 차분한 도수 위로 두꺼운 질감을 타고 흐른다. 시간이 다듬은 묵직함이 거칠지 않게 자리 잡는다. 짙은 호박빛 너머로 마른 과일과 은은한 흙의 여운이 길게 이어진다.
