잔을 살짝 흔들고 코를 묻으면 호그스헤드에서 21년을 보낸 벤 네비스답게 잘 익은 과일과 밀랍, 옅은 흙내가 함께 올라온다. 한 모금 입 안에서 굴리면 묵직한 보리 단맛 위로 꿀과 가벼운 시트러스가 번진다. 47도의 결을 천천히 삼키면 왁스 같은 질감과 고소한 맥아의 단맛이 입천장을 감싸고, 빈 잔에서도 진한 향이 남는다.
