밝은 볏짚빛이 잔 속에서 기름진 윤기를 드러낸다. 벤 네비스 특유의 묵직함이 향에서 구두약과 삼나무, 연필심의 마른 기운으로 나타나고 감귤 껍질과 생강의 매운 향이 뒤엉킨다. 하이랜드의 이 위스키는 2012년 증류 후 버번 호그스헤드에서 10년을 지나며 강건한 개성을 얻었다. 58.2도의 힘은 입안에서 후추와 베르가못, 겨자씨의 알싸함으로 팽팽하게 몰아친다. 매콤한 기운과 옅은 소금기가 오래도록 남으며 잦아든다.
