짙은 호박빛이 잔 속에 깊게 머문다. 26년을 보낸 벤 네비스는 특유의 묵직한 왁스와 잘 익은 과일, 가벼운 가죽의 향을 천천히 풀어낸다. 입안에서는 흑설탕과 말린 자두, 코코아의 풍미가 진하게 번지며 54.7도의 도수가 묵직하게 입을 채운다. 1996년 빈티지다운 농축된 단맛과 은근한 오크가 마지막까지 길게 이어지는 여운으로 남는다.
