스페이사이드 로더스의 글렌로시스가 셰리 캐스크에서 20년을 보낸 1997년 빈티지로, 앤티크 라이언스가 담은 보틀링이다. 잔에는 윤나는 호박빛이 깊게 돈다. 셰리에서 온 오렌지 껍질, 건포도, 정향의 향이 풍성하게 오른다. 57도의 단단한 도수가 입을 가득 채우며 토피, 구운 견과, 시나몬의 풍미가 진하게 번진다. 여운에는 말린 과일과 따뜻한 향신료, 마른 오크가 길게 이어진다.

this one’s rather rounder, with more honey and raisins. A more civilised version of the one for Sweden, if you like. Whiffs of stewed strawberries, perhaps. With water: these earthy smells once again, moss, tobacco, cocoa, even a little menthol… The roundness went away

rich, rather sweet again. Some kind of peppered orange liqueur with an earthier background (our beloved gentian eau-de-vie), plus some mead and sweet white wine. Perhaps proper PX? With water: pepper up big time
