맑은 황금빛이 잔 속에 매끄럽게 잠겨 있다. 하이랜드 클라이넬리시답게 특유의 밀랍과 그을음, 기름진 왁스 질감이 잘 익은 사과와 함께 강렬하게 피어오른다. 12년의 원액이지만 57.5퍼센트의 힘은 입안에서 벌집과 엔진 오일을 떠올리게 하는 기름진 결을 두껍게 밀어 올린다. 짭조름하고 꿀 같은 여운이 놀랍도록 길게 이어진다.

God's own malt. It's got everything, including some old Clynelish, I'm almost sure about that. We'd better sing you a song now… But not before we've mentioned beeswax, engine oil (a feeling of…), benzine (something reminiscent of…) and just chewing candles. When we were kids… With water: I had forgotten how good these were/are. Some seawater now, oysters, sorrel soup, soot, ashes…
