노즈에서는 잉크와 그을음, 식은 잿내가 먼저 두드러지고 햄 지방과 사과 껍질, 모터 오일, 오래된 책의 향이 발전하며 굴과 가재 같은 해양성 뉘앙스가 더해진다. 팰럿은 5년이라는 나이가 무색하게 기름지고 풍만하며 순도 높은 해양성 풍미가 또렷하게 입을 채운다. 피니시는 놀랍도록 길고 레몬과 잿내, 바닷물, 해조류가 깊게 머문다. 1970년에 병입된 옛 클라이넬리시의 비범한 밀도가 명확하게 드러나는 보틀링이다.
