테이스팅 노트
노즈에서는 호그스헤드에서 온 잘 익은 사과와 배, 바닐라의 산뜻한 향이 먼저 두드러진다. 아란은 깨끗하고 과실 중심의 아일랜드 몰트로, 1995년 빈티지가 21년 숙성을 거치며 보리의 단맛과 옅은 꿀의 결을 또렷하게 더한다. 입에서는 시트러스와 꿀, 시리얼의 풍미가 흐르고, 49.5도의 도수가 산뜻함 속에 단단한 구조를 유지한다. 피니시는 마른 곡물과 오크의 가벼운 쌉쌀함이 깔끔하게 이어지며, 긴 숙성에도 경쾌함을 지킨 균형이 돋보이는 한 잔이다.

a clean, malty and fruity style that rather hints at many ‘natural’ Speysiders. I find apples, plums, then more oranges and ‘sweet’ lemons, lemon grass, touches of ginger and then a wee earthiness combined with a little sea air, which isn’t exactly ‘Speyside’, I agree. A nice, easy, clean nose
