버번 캐스크에서 보낸 11년의 흔적이 어란의 깨끗한 과실미를 또렷이 드러낸다. 잘 익은 배와 사과, 바닐라와 시트러스 향이 산뜻하게 솟아오른다. 입에서는 55.8도의 힘이 꿀과 보리 단맛, 바닐라 크림으로 번지며 입을 가득 채운다. 아란 섬의 젊고 청량한 캐릭터가 옅은 금빛 잔에 담겨, 여운은 달콤한 오크와 가벼운 후추로 깔끔하게 남는다.
