잔을 가볍게 흔들면 셰리 캐스크가 빚은 짙은 호박빛이 잔 벽을 미끄러져 내린다. 코끝으로 가져가면 아란 특유의 잘 익은 사과와 붉은 베리, 계피향이 산뜻하게 올라온다. 54.1도의 술을 한 모금 머금으면 건포도와 오렌지, 살짝 매운 향신료가 어우러져 입 안을 채운다. 삼키면 섬 위스키다운 깨끗한 과실의 단맛과 옅은 오크가 차례로 가라앉는다.
