잔을 기울여 돌리면 1973년 셰리 버트가 남긴 짙은 황금빛이 유리벽을 타고 흘러내린다. 코를 가까이 대면 글렌리벳다운 잘 익은 배와 오렌지 마멀레이드, 밀랍의 향이 부드럽게 솟는다. 한 모금을 머금으면 56도라는 힘이 무색하게 매끄러운 질감이 입을 감싸고 꿀과 건살구가 잔잔히 번진다. 삼킨 자리에는 오래된 오크의 향신료와 옅은 가죽 내음이 은은히 깔린다.
