리필 버번 배럴에서 26년을 보낸 시간이 이 아드벡의 강한 피트를 곱고 원숙하게 다듬었다. 캐스크의 흔적이 향에 설탕에 절인 과일과 아이싱 슈거, 바닐라, 옅은 파인애플을 올린다. 50도의 도수는 입안에서 재와 파인애플 젤리, 올리브, 짭조름한 소금기를 복합적으로 편다. 오랜 숙성이 아드벡의 콜타르 같은 피트에 달콤한 결을 더한다. 긴 세월이 사나운 훈연을 부드러운 과일 드롭으로 바꿔 놓았다. 황금빛 여운은 그을음과 과일 드롭, 허브의 온기가 오래도록 타오른다.

there’s some sucrosity in this nose, preserved fruits, icing sugar, a touch of fresh plaster, some vanilla, and even a wee touch of pineapple. In short, this is not a wham-bam-peaty Ardbeg, it’s rather mellow and soft. So far. Purifier on, I guess (oh forget)

peated Haribos! Ashes and pineapple jelly, three black olives, two oysters, and more and more brine. Sweetened brine. There’s a little rubbery liquorice as well, a feeling of coal tar, and the usual lemons. As drops.
