테이스팅 노트
노즈에서는 1972년 빈티지 아드벡의 정제된 피트 연기와 묵은 해초, 마른 시트러스 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 31년간 버번 호그스헤드에서 숙성된 시간이 아일라 특유의 야성을 우아한 미네랄리티로 발전시켰다. 팰럿은 49.2도의 단단한 입자감 위에 훈제 굴, 마른 라임, 토피의 구조감이 따라온다. 균형이 단단하고 개방감이 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 피니시는 길게 발전하며 약한 요오드와 정제된 피트 재가 깊게 머문다.

very floral at first nosing, on nectar and honey. Bold, with lots of walnuts developing. Beautiful vanilla, praline… The wood is very elegant: great balance! powerful and nicely fragrant (musk). Very honeyed and again some very fine woody notes, with quite some liquorice, roasted nuts and burnt cake. The finish is long, coating and again, superbly balanced. 87 points .
