옅은 황금빛이 잔 속에 맑게 고여 있다. 호그스헤드에서 25년을 보낸 1997년 링크우드는 깨끗한 과수원 향과 흰 꽃, 풋사과의 청량함을 또렷이 피워 올린다. 한 모금 삼키면 레몬과 배, 보리 단맛이 산뜻하게 퍼지고 56.4도의 높은 도수가 또렷한 열기로 받친다. 여운에는 풀잎과 시트러스 껍질, 옅은 바닐라가 길게 이어지며 링크우드 특유의 단정한 결을 남긴다.
