던컨 테일러의 옥타브, 한 통 5리터 안팎의 작은 캐스크에서 22년을 보낸 1989년 링크우드는 우드의 영향을 농축해 받았다. 잔을 가까이 하면 잘 익은 살구, 캐러멜 시럽, 가벼운 시나몬이 먼저 오른다. 한 모금 머금으면 꿀에 절인 배, 바닐라 커스터드, 또렷한 오크 타닌이 48.9퍼센트 도수에 실려 입천장을 부드럽게 덮는다. 짙은 황금빛 컬러로 스페이사이드 특유의 단정한 여운이 깊게 머문다.

medium long, clean, more on stewed fruits and a little burnt caramel and raisins. Ovaltine and touches of bitter oak in the aftertaste
