테이스팅 노트
스페이사이드 벤리네스 산 발치 글렌파클라스의 가족 경영 셰리 캐스크 전통이 1959년산에 깃든다. 잔에는 짙은 마호가니빛이 깊게 머문다. 향은 농축된 건포도와 무화과 잼, 호두, 다크 초콜릿이 켜켜이 쌓인다. 34년 셰리 캐스크 숙성의 풍미는 입에서 묵직하게 펼쳐지며 가죽과 오렌지 마멀레이드, 정향이 발전한다. 50.2%가 풍미를 받치고 여운은 옛 셰리 셀러의 그늘이 길게 깃든다.

more discrete but maybe more elegant than the huge 1961 at first nosing, starting and developing rather marvellously on all kinds of herbal and resinous aromas. Pine wood, moss, eucalyptus, cedar wood, crystallised lemons (rare in old Glenfarclas), mint... Then dried pears, citrons, quince, kumquats... This is absolutely superb!

excellent, truly excellent. Very resinous (luv’ that), very minty and very camphory. All kinds of cough sweets and syrups reunited or something like that, pine sweets as well. Plus crystallised oranges and lemons and spices (a little pepper, cinnamon from the wood and dried cardamom.)
