퍼스트필 셰리 호그스헤드에서 26년을 보낸 시간이 이 글렌파클라스 1989의 모든 결을 빚어낸다. 향은 잘 익은 건자두와 진한 흑설탕, 묵은 가죽이 겹겹이 발전한다. 55.1도의 입안에서는 말린 과일과 호두, 다크초콜릿이 묵직하게 입을 채운다. 오랜 셰리 숙성다운 깊이가 흔들림 없이 이어지고, 짙은 마호가니빛과 함께 여운은 향신료와 단내로 길게 남는다.
