올드 보틀 글렌파클라스 105는 노즈에서 버터스카치와 진한 몰트, 달콤한 맥주와 빵, 포카치아 같은 곡물 단맛이 두드러진다. 셰리 캐스크가 마스 바 같은 카라멜을 더한다. 60도의 팰럿은 케이크와 견과, 몰트, 마멀레이드에 생강이 얹히며 짜임새가 단단하다. 다만 물을 더하면 성냥과 유황 뉘앙스가 드러나는 약점도 있고, 피니시는 다소 식물성으로 마무리된다.
