잔을 기울이면 윤기 도는 호박빛이 잔 안에서 묵직하게 일렁인다. 코를 가져가면 히스 꽃 꿀과 옅은 훈연, 말린 오렌지가 차례로 피어나며 깊이를 더한다. 한 모금 머금으면 33년 숙성한 하이랜드 파크답게 부드러운 단맛 뒤로 오크의 무게가 받쳐 준다. 오크니 섬에서 익은 원액을 삼키면 은은한 연기와 향신료가 혀끝에 오래 머문다.
