테이스팅 노트
리필 호그스헤드에서 14년을 보낸 시간이 이 위스키의 향신료와 단맛을 함께 빚는다. 코에는 아메리칸 오크에서 온 바닐라와 생강, 육두구가 히스 꿀과 꿀에 절인 귀리 위로 화사하게 열린다. 입안에서는 정향과 올리브유, 매콤한 호밀빵의 결이 59.9도의 힘과 함께 또렷이 감돈다. 오크니 섬의 하이랜드 파크 2002 싱글 캐스크로 향신료의 구조가 단단하다. 호박빛 아래 여운은 허브와 짭짤한 감초가 길게 남는다.

lean, spicy and with a nice rising sweetness. You do indeed notice the American oak with this syrupy vanilla quality that sits just beneath the surface. Lots of ginger, nutmeg, fruit loaf, almonds, honeyed oatmeal, crystalised fruits, golden syrup and heather honey. Playfully sweet and fruity in a way that you don’t often find with HP. Gets breadier with notes of freshly baked brown bread, some salty butter and sweet fruit cordials. With water: notes of strawberry wine, young calvados, red apples, tarragon, herbal toothpaste and mint julep
