테이스팅 노트
잔을 천천히 돌리면 로즈우드빛 짙은 호박색이 잔 벽에 진하게 들러붙는다. 코끝에 가져가면 코냑에 조린 검은 과일과 캐러멜, 다즐링 홍차의 향이 깊게 밀려든다. 하이랜드 파크답게 스티키 토피 푸딩과 건포도의 풍성한 결이 가득하다. 코를 다시 대면 기네스 케이크와 쌉쌀한 초콜릿의 향이 뒤이어 올라온다. 한 모금 머금으면 58.6도 위로 자두 소스와 감초, 타르, 오향의 향신료가 번진다. 물을 더하면 콜라 시럽과 다크 초콜릿, 옅은 흙내가 겹겹이 열린다. 삼킨 뒤에는 초콜릿과 가죽, 후추의 진한 뒷맛이 목을 타고 오래 이어진다.

There’s also a kind of Asian themed spiciness going on with five spice, star anise and toasted fennel seed. Hessian and some top notch dark chocolate as well. With water: hessian cloth, dark fruit cordials, plum jam, hardwood resins, coal dust, some bitter dark chocolate, salted liquorice, more tar again and sarsaparilla

long, chocolatey, leathery, tarry, lots of black pepper, dried herbs, soot, caraway, mint and tarragon. Gets increasingly liqueurish in texture
