노즈에서는 가벼운 헤더 꿀과 마른 토탄이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 오크니의 청량한 풍토에서 자란 하이랜드 파크의 18년 숙성이 셰리와 부르번 캐스크의 균형으로 또렷이 깃들어 있다. 팰럿에서는 다크 토피와 마른 무화과, 미세한 훈연이 발전하고 43도 ABV의 절제된 강도가 단단하게 잡혀 있다. 피니시는 마른 향신료와 부드러운 오크가 길게 이어지며 구조감이 분명하다. 하이랜드 파크 18년의 분석적 정확도가 명확하다.
