노즈에서는 셰리 캐스크를 거친 하이랜드 파크 더 다크 특유의 흙내음과 그을음, 상쾌한 감귤 향이 가장 먼저 두드러진다. 오크니 특유의 진흙과 점토 위로 요오드와 굴 같은 해안의 뉘앙스가 발전한다. 52.9도의 팰럿은 피트와 약재 같은 개성 위로 자몽과 인삼, 대황과 유칼립투스가 어우러진다. 피니시는 엽록소와 흙내음, 은은한 훈연이 상쾌하게 이어지고, 오크니 몰트다운 구조감이 또렷하다.

Rather peaty, medicinal and coastal, with superb grapefruits, ginseng, more grapefruits, touches of rhubarb and kiwi, a little mint, eucalyptus drops, chlorophyll… This one’s right up my alley! With water: just excellent indeed, with lemons comings out. That always works a treat in my book

medium, very refreshing, with more chlorophyll, eucalyptus, and earthy elements. Like, mushrooms. Always a touch of peat smokiness in the aftertaste
