테이스팅 노트
오크니 섬의 거센 바람과 헤더 무성한 황야가 하이랜드 파크의 뿌리를 이룬다. 작은 퍼킨 캐스크에서 14년을 보낸 이 보틀링은 옅은 호박빛을 머금는다. 향은 헤더 꿀과 은은한 훈연, 말린 오렌지 껍질이 또렷이 드러난다. 입에서는 55.8도의 단단한 힘이 정향과 생강, 헤더 피트 특유의 흙내음을 실어 묵직하게 입을 채운다. 섬의 짠 공기가 스민 여운이 따뜻한 향신료와 함께 길게 머문다.

It escapes the trappings of being overly woody - so far, anyway - by being rather scented and aromatic with all these resinous and polish notes. active but clean wood with a lot of spices, nutmeg, ginger, salted liquorice, espresso and umami paste. Incorporates more notes of furniture and boot polish, more wood resins and some kind of sticky spiced jam. With water: opens up a little more here, some strawberry wine, Belgian fruit beers, aniseed, herbal cough medicines and a more general feeling of 'Highland Parkness'
