옅은 황금빛이 잔에 맑게 어린다. 아일라의 라프로익이 리필 버번 호그스헤드에서 19년을 보내며 마른 장작 연기와 요오드, 바다 소금의 향을 거침없이 끌어올린다. 라프로익 특유의 약품 같은 훈연이 오랜 숙성 속에서 한층 둥글어져 있다. 57.1도의 도수가 첫 모금에서 강렬한 피트와 옅은 바닐라의 단맛을 한데 풀어낸다. 거친 연기 뒤로 잘 익은 과일과 꿀의 단 기운이 은근하게 비친다. 혀에서는 강렬한 훈연 뒤로 꿀과 잘 익은 과일의 단맛이 은근하게 번진다. 여운에는 탄 재와 짭조름한 미네랄, 옅은 단맛이 길고 강하게 남는다.
