노즈는 강한 약품 같은 피트와 바다 내음, 레몬으로 문을 연다. 라프로익 1995가 리필 버번 호그스헤드에서 보낸 25년으로 거친 훈연이 다듬어진 깊이로 또렷하게 드러난다. 팰럿은 바닐라와 짭짤한 재, 후추가 발전하며 54.6도의 도수가 강한 골격을 세운다. 피니시는 마른 그을음과 소금기로 길게 끌린다. 오래 숙성된 아일라의 균형이 단단하다.
