잔을 흔들면 라프로익 13년이 셰리 피니시에서 마셔 들인 짠 페놀과 마른 자두 향을 풀어 놓는다. 잔을 코끝에 가져가면 아일라 특유의 짚단 연기와 셰리의 단맛이 동시에 일어난다. 한 모금을 머금으면 54.3도의 도수가 다크 초콜릿과 굴 껍데기 미네랄을 따라간다. 마지막에는 식어가는 모닥불 잔향이 입가에 오래 남는다.
