향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
옅은 황금빛이 잔에 맑게 어린다. 아일라의 라프로익이 1990년에 채운 원액은 19년을 보내며 거친 피트를 한결 둥글게 다듬었다. 향에는 소독약 같은 강한 이탄 연기와 짭조름한 바다 내음, 그 아래 옅은 단내가 함께 솟아오른다. 한 모금에는 그을린 장작과 후추, 미네랄의 알싸함이 또렷하게 번지고, 52.8도의 도수가 기름진 질감을 단단히 받친다. 오랜 숙성이 더한 깊이 덕에 거친 기운이 한결 누그러지며, 여운에는 재와 해초의 기운이 길게 가라앉는다.

this one surprisingly rounder than the OB, with a little more fresh butter and vanilla cream as well as more minerals, and it's much more medicinal too, with also more apple peelings and walnut skin. On the other hand, it's rather less coastal, with less oysters and brine but such notes there are. Great anyway, just more a classic than the OB (which takes the biscuit ;-))
