잔을 흔들어 향을 깨우면 맑은 밀짚빛이 잔 안에서 천천히 돈다. 코를 대면 정통 라프로익의 요오드와 타르, 병원 소독약 같은 강한 피트가 단번에 솟아오른다. 59.3도를 조심스레 한 모금 머금으면 버번 배럴의 바닐라 위로 그을린 재와 굴 껍질의 짠맛이 거칠게 번진다. 1990년 케이든헤드 보틀링답게 가수 없이 날 선 힘이 살아 있고, 삼키면 매캐한 연기가 입안 깊이 오래 남는다.
