시즈닝한 차링 오크 배럴에서 10년을 보낸 이 라프로익 카스크 스트렝스는 통이 잡아 준 단맛 위로 아일라 피트를 거침없이 드러낸다. 향에서는 재와 타르 같은 피트, 검은 후추와 바비큐 잉걸불, 멘톨 담배가 밀려온다. 59.9도의 강렬한 도수가 입에서는 시럽 같은 피트 단맛과 훈연 후추, 요오드와 붕대 향으로 묵직하게 번진다. 황금빛을 띠며 여운은 타르와 소금, 훈제 생선의 짠기로 길게 이어진다.

much better arrival I think, sweet but full of syrupy peat flavours, smoked black pepper, bandages, tar extracts, iodine and various medical 'things'. Big and nicely 'Laphroaigy'. With water: works well now! More precise and focused on peat smoke, medicine, TCP and smoked pepper. That sweetness from the wood feels more integrated
