향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
잔을 가볍게 흔들면 짙은 금빛이 잔 벽을 매끄럽게 타고 내린다. 코끝에 가져가면 검은 올리브 케이크와 훈제 발사믹, 자메이카 럼을 닮은 강렬한 향이 밀려든다. 캐스크 스트렝스로 병입된 라프로익 10년답게 거칠고 압도적인 스모키함이 살아 있다. 시간이 지나 다시 향을 맡으면 훈제 아몬드 기름 같은 향이 서서히 드러난다. 한 모금 머금으면 57.8도의 힘이 재와 연기를 폭발하듯 혀 위로 쏟아낸다. 물을 더하면 덜 익은 망고와 훈제 청어, 랍상소총의 마른 연기가 열린다. 삼킨 뒤에는 건조하고 재 같은 뒷맛이 목 안쪽에서 오래 이어진다.
