향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
아일라 남부 해안의 라프로익은 짭조름한 바닷바람과 진한 피트 늪의 기운을 술에 깊이 새긴다. 엑스버번 캐스크에서 12년을 보낸 이 보틀링은 옅은 황금빛을 띤다. 향에서는 요오드와 소독약 같은 피트, 훈제 연기와 레몬이 강렬하게 올라오고 옅은 바닐라가 더해진다. 46도의 입안에서는 짙은 피트와 바다 소금기, 옅은 바닐라가 단단하게 흐른다. 중간에는 그을린 시트러스와 후추의 매콤함이 두꺼운 질감으로 퍼진다. 라프로익다운 약재 같은 피트와 짠맛의 여운이 길고 강렬하게 이어진다.

What’s really toned down compared to more classic Laphroaigs, like the ‘regular’ 10 or the CS, are the coastal and medicinal elements, which seem to have been somewhat erased.
