맑은 금빛이 잔에 은은하게 비친다. 아일라의 라프로익 18년은 엑스버번 캐스크에서 숙성되어, 부드러운 훈연과 낙엽, 바닷물과 옅은 베이컨의 향이 섬세하게 겹쳐 오른다. 48도의 도수에서 짭조름한 훈제 생선과 스모키한 차, 뜻밖의 열대 과실이 우아하게 균형을 이룬다. 잘 익은 망고를 떠올리게 하는 훈연의 여운이 적당한 길이로 남는다.
