빛 바랜 호박색이 잔에 그윽이 깃들어 있다. 아일라 보모어가 1966년 빈티지로 36년의 세월을 보낸 뒤 더글라스 라잉의 올드 몰트 캐스크 시리즈로 40.6도에 병입된 전설적인 보틀링이다. 향에는 열대 과실의 우러난 시럽과 미세한 바닷내음, 오래된 밀랍의 결이 깊게 머문다. 입에서는 망고와 패션프루트, 부드러운 피트의 잔재가 미끄러지듯 펼쳐지고 옅은 짠 기운이 입천장을 덮는다. 여운에는 트로피컬 과실과 노화된 오크의 잔향이 길게 이어진다.

and here is this incredible profile that suggests a little demon decided to mix mango and clementine juices with heavy fuel and seawater. This nose is not at all tired, on the contrary, it reminds us of the best Bowmores of the 1960s that were bottled nearly thirty years ago (my God, already). Of course, that cannot be the case, but one could almost imagine that this barrel was transferred into demi-johns at a certain point, in the manner of some great cognacs.
