향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
노즈에서는 보우모어 특유의 해안가 미네랄과 중간 피트 위로 패션프루트와 오렌지, 망고 향이 산뜻하게 드러난다. 15년을 채운 이 셰리 오크 보틀링은 43도에서 올로로소가 더한 단맛과 훈연이 깔끔하게 균형을 이룬다. 팰럿에서는 설탕에 절인 오렌지와 바닐라 퍼지, 소금기가 부드럽게 이어진다. 피니시는 녹차의 은은한 쌉쌀함과 옅은 훈연이 길게 남아 구조가 선명하다.

much, much cleaner than the Legend, flinty and very, very coastal, medium-peaty. Very nice notes of passion fruits, oranges and mangos just like in some much older versions. Great freshness and most enjoyable smokiness, with faint hints of wet dog. Huge progress when compared with earlier batches – Bowmore 12 is truly back as far as I can tell. Bravo!

ah yes, this is excellent. Perfect ‘medium’ peatiness, lots of salt, notes of candied oranges, vanilla fudge… Again a slight slump at the middle – the 40% again, I guess – but the finish is better again, with a nice bitterness (green tea). Typically a gentle peat monster and no floral or perfumy notes whatsoever. 85 points . Bowmore 15 yo 'Darkest' (43%, OB, 2007) Finished for two years in oloroso sherry
