맑은 꿀빛이 잔 안에 부드럽게 고인다. 발베니를 아메리칸 버번 배럴에서 14년 숙성한 이 보틀링은 꿀과 바닐라, 잘 익은 배의 향이 스페이사이드답게 둥글게 어우러진다. 47.8도의 입맛은 매끄럽고 따뜻해, 오크의 가벼운 향신료와 꿀에 절인 과일, 옅은 시나몬의 단맛이 혀를 감싼다. 끝에는 보리사탕과 바닐라 크림의 여운이 은은하게 이어진다.

Honeysuckle, white currants, pink grapefruit, chalk, and a few hints of soot and saltpetre, followed by very restrained vanilla. The balance is superb. For now, the smoke is more of the ‘flinty’ variety
