향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
잔을 살짝 기울이면 깊은 구릿빛이 천천히 흘러내린다. 잔을 코끝에 가져가면 발베니 특유의 꿀과 잘 익은 배 향이 가장 먼저 인사하고, 31년이 새긴 오래된 오크의 향이 그 뒤를 따라온다. 한 모금을 머금으면 49.7도의 둥근 알코올이 부드럽게 퍼지면서 캐러멜라이즈된 견과와 토피의 단맛이 묵직하게 입을 채운다. 천천히 삼키면 스페이사이드 특유의 꿀 같은 잔향이 길게 따라오며 마무리된다.

rich, rounded, almost exuberant at first nosing, all on very ripe apricots, sultanas, bananas flambéed and vanilla custard and going on with the same aromas. The sherry is discrete, that is... Not very complicated but extremely appealing, even sexy. Perfect balance
restaurant 맛 (팔레트)
maybe just a tad weakish at the very beginning of the attack (the 40%...) but the whisky is very ‘substantial’ so no big deal here. Develops all on toffee (more sherry influence on the palate than on the nose), orange marmalade, bergamot (or earl grey tea), quince jelly and vanilla fudge. Very voluptuous but certainly not lumpish or cloying
