테이스팅 노트
옅은 호박빛이 잔 속에서 따뜻하게 빛난다. 부나하벤은 아일라에 속하면서도 피트를 거의 쓰지 않는데, 리필 아메리칸 호그스헤드에서 28년을 보낸 1991년 빈티지는 그 부드러움을 한껏 끌어올린다. 잘 익은 무화과와 호두, 옅은 바닷바람의 향이 코끝을 감싼다. 50.3도의 입맛은 둥글고 기름져, 캐러멜과 마른 견과의 단맛이 혀에 미끄러진다. 소금기 어린 여운이 잔잔히 남는다.

Almost another generation of Bunnahabhain, rather tenser and indeed brighter. A little chalk. even more so, this is very tight, a little smoky, certainly mineral, lemony, kind of 'muddy' in a good way, a little sooty, grassy, slightly fermentary… If you like, we're rather more in the cluster of HP, Cly, Spr and all. Which couldn't be bad news. With water: perhaps the missing link between the gentler praline-led older batches and the newer, tighter, more coastal, more phenolic style of Bunnahabhain. I'm finding this pretty perfect, while it would go on and on with green citrus and earthy herbs
