향미 프로필
테이스팅 노트
셰리 버트를 거쳤음에도 색은 짙지 않은 금빛에 머문다. 향은 뜻밖에 메마르고 엄격해 풋호두와 나무껍질, 겨자와 드라이 베르무트가 앞서고 흙과 땅콩버터가 뒤를 따른다. 56.5도에 물을 더하면 스콘과 브리오슈 같은 구움과자가 열리며 결이 둥글어진다. 입안은 가지와 아티초크의 쓴맛에서 시작해 건포도 롤과 할바, 모카로 옮겨가고 여운은 기름지고 길다.

With water: cakes, scones, brioches and biscuits coming out and making it rounder and gentler. Lovely maltiness from the wee stills

awesome bitter and austere Macallan indeed, with eggplants and artichokes, acidic coffee, green walnuts again, mustard once more, and dry white vermouth yet again. With water: it is another whisky, with sweeter pastries, raisin rolls, halva and nougat, mocha, indeed walnut cake and wine, plus a tiny idea of a salty/mustardy manzanillaness. See what I mean
